Saltaire Farm Item of the Month
THIS IS A GREAT THING!
Dear Saltaire Farm Riders!-
We are starting a new program this month at the barn! It kind of goes along with our new "look at how neat and tidy our barn is!" theme, but now it's going to be "look how organized and classy we are at horse shows!" Every month an item will be available to be used at the horse shows to coordinate our "barn look" and to organize our show equipment. Some of these items include: matching horse sheets and coolers, polo shirts, saddle covers etc. No one is obligated to buy any of these items- it's all voluntary. Also, these items are for use at shows only, not at home. That way they will stay in good condition and last a long time.
Kari is WAY excited about this idea, and every item is getting her official stamp of approval before it is offered to our riders. This month's item is a blanket bag that hangs on your stall door. It's embroidered with the Saltaire Farm logo (in the new color combination!) and includes a bar for hanging.
We are looking for the best deals and the best prices because I'm CHEAP! Ordering will be easy- just mail a check to me by the last day of the month for that month's item. I'll be making the group order on the 1st of every month, so make sure your check is to me by then. Kind of like sending in a stall deposit and open check for a horse show- don't be late! Don't leave checks for me at the barn- they will get lost. Mail them to me instead. Watch the new framed announcement in the tack room each month for the month's new item. Flyers to take home will be in the new basket below the shoer's list on the white board.
We've never done this before, but don't you think it's time be the classiest barn at the shows? If you have ideas for items, or opinions about this program in general, let me know! Thanks!!

We LOVE YOU WILLEY
Nov. 29 Willey passed away to the Greener Pastures of Horsey Heaven. Willey was one of Saltaire Farm's Finest Lesson Horses. Willey was a big Chestnut Oldenburg fellow around 23ish. His first assignment to Saltaire Farm was to Meilee as her first "Horse" to show..... and also her best friend. From there he took over many day to day lessons as the kids fell in love with him and made him their best friend too. Just this past summer Willey showed Emma what it was like to compete her first Show. I know that we will all miss him dearly. Make sure and share your Willey stories if you have them! I will get his pictures up soon!
